Easter Fun

This Easter we decided to head up to PA to get out of town and spend some time with family. Unfortunately Grandma and Pappy were off touring the Southwest, but were gracious enough to offer us their house for the weekend. Well, without Grandma and Pappy, their house isn't nearly as much fun, so we headed down the street to hang out with Aunt Kristen and her boys (who were lots of fun). First stop was her backyard playset-

Speaking of Aunt Kristen... here she is taking pictures from the other side of the tunnel

These two are so cute, they are obviously up to no good

Doing what I do best - standing around and watching

Micaela's friend Avalon came with us on this trip, this is her playing on the teeter-totter with Nicholas

I'm not quite sure how he did it, but Kurt got all the kids to pile into the tunnel for a picture

After the kids got tired with the playset they decided to go to the front yard to ride bikes. Avalon wasn't a bike rider, but decided she wanted to learn. It took approximately 10 seconds for her to figure it out. Next thing you know, this happened -

We had a gang.

They probably spent half the day riding around. I love Kristen's long driveway away from any traffic, it made watching the kids so easy.

Micaela showing me her "moves" or were they her "tricks"... I can't keep up.

On Sunday the weather held out long enough for us to have an Easter Egg Hunt and Grandma and Pappy's house. There were a TON of eggs and Kurt did a great job hiding them all over the place.

This is me picking up the "easter eggs" that Spot and Bear decided to leave us... lovely, I know.

Kendall counting his loot.

Okay, these next few pictures are for Misty. She's a little better at it than we are, you can check out her blog at http://mischief-making.blogspot.com/

And because I'm so late in putting this blog together, it's actually Prince William and Kate's wedding day. Here are the girls pretending that they are bridesmaids at the wedding. Cute, huh?

Jon didn't have any fancy scarfs like Micaela and Avalon so he grabbed his blanket and pretended he was... Prince Harry maybe?
